Another major part of our business is the supply of used printing machines, which obviously goes hand in hand with our involvement in the used print finishing industry. We mainly handle Heidelberg; Roland and Komori sheet fed offset presses from single colour up to 6 colour presses with and without in-line coaters. Again, our engineers and electricians are widely experienced in all areas of the graphic machinery industry and the supply of multi-colour offset litho presses is a substantial part of our business.
Heidelberg Printmaster and Speedmaster
Heidelberg offers two category presses in the sheetfed division. The Printmaster and the Speedmaster. The Printmaster family is tailored to small and medium sized print shops who wish to progress to multi-colour offset printing. The Speedmaster offers a higher level of automation and productivity. Printmasters are supplied in the following sizes: 35 x 50 cm: QM46, GTO 52 and PM 52, 50 x 70 cm: PM 74. The Speedmaster is manufactured in the following sizes: 35 x 50 cm: SM52, 50 x 70cm: DC74, 70 x 100 cm: SM 102, CD 102 and XL 105.
MAN Roland sheet fed offset systems
MAN Roland one of the market leaders within the British graphic arts industry whilst heavily involved in digital production. MAN Roland is one of the world’s top manufacturers of sheet fed offset systems creating new technology and giving a comprehensive service to the construction of complete printing plant and project planning. The Far East is still a major market for our used MAN Roland machines. We sell mainly the MAN 700 and 600 series multi colour presses but there is still a good market for the older type of equipment such as multi colour Rekords, Parva, Favorits. In fact many of these older machines have been successfully converted to spot and surface varnishing machines with UV drying.
Komori printing machinery
The Japanese manufactured Komori is another leader in the world printing industry. Komoris product line up includes the Lithrone S series, Spica, Sprint, System, Banknote and Chambon series. Their machines are field-proven in print quality and productivity.
The Lithrone S40 was created specifically for a modern profit-focused printing industry. The Komori Lithrone S40 symbolizes the world’s most successful printing machine. The Lithrone series is known for its excellent sheetfed offset presses.
The Komori Spica is a high-powered multi task press that is in popularity from its users. The Spica is known for Komori’s short make-ready system. There are more than 13,000 Komori Spica printing machines in service worldwide. In addition, Komori also manufacture currency presses known as the Banknote series. The Chambon series is a fully automatic packaging press equipped with in-line post press processing function.
